The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834165583 is a 2-inch coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for aggressive stock removal, weld blending, and deburring on metal and wood surfaces. It uses a zirconia alumina abrasive grain, which is self-sharpening and well-suited for sustained coarse-grit cutting at 50 grit. The disc mounts via a Power-Lock Type S attaching system and is rated to 30,000 RPM. A Y-weight polyester backing provides durability and flexibility, and the semi-open coat construction resists loading. This disc is installed and used by HVAC sheet metal workers, fabricators, pipefitters, and general trade professionals who work with metal and structural materials.

This disc is built for use on handheld disc sanders. Installation Notes

Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc that shows cracks, tears, or delamination.
