The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834163107 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type S attachment systems. At 3 inches in diameter and rated at 120 grit (fine grade), this disc is made from zirconia alumina, a tough, self-sharpening abrasive material well suited to aggressive stock removal and blending on metal surfaces. The blue zirconia alumina coating delivers consistent cut throughout the life of the disc. The silver button connects directly to compatible Type S quick-change mandrels, allowing rapid disc swaps without tools. Maximum rated speed is 20,000 RPM.

This disc is used by metalworkers, fabricators, pipefitters, and HVAC and plumbing technicians for surface preparation, weld blending, deburring, and edge finishing on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 3-inch diameter is a common size for working in tight spaces, around pipe welds, and on sheet metal assemblies.
