The Mepco ML9631 retrofit cartridge is designed for one inch 3C series radiator traps, previously from Dunham & Bush. This essential component includes a cap, element, and seat which fit directly into the trap.

The thermostatic discs function as a sealed liquid filled capsule. They close to prevent steam escape and open to allow air and condensate to discharge during cooling.
