Mepco provides the ML9630 retrofit cartridge for 3/4 inch 2E series radiator traps in all patterns. This cartridge includes a cap, element, and seat that fit directly into the steam trap. It contains thermostatic elements which are liquid-filled capsules. These elements close to seal steam inside and open to allow the release of air and condensate when cooling occurs. This cartridge is suitable for use in radiator and fin tube heating applications, as well as in F&T traps used for steam return mains.
