The MECHANIX WEAR S5EP-03-008 is a cut-resistant, puncture-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A7 and ANSI/ISEA Puncture Level 3, making it one of the most protective glove classifications available for trade work. Built on an 18-gauge HPPE blend shell with a nitrile dip coating across the palm and fingers, the glove delivers a secure grip on wet or oily surfaces while maintaining dexterity for tool handling. The EN 388 rating of 4X42F confirms independent verification across abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture performance categories. This is a paired, unisex glove in size Medium, designed for daily use in demanding job-site environments.
The S5EP-03-008 is suited for mechanical assembly, plumbing rough-in, electrical conduit work, metal fabrication, and any trade application where sharp edges, sheet metal, wire ends, or abrasive surfaces are routine hazards. The textured nitrile palm coating provides reliable grip when handling pipe, conduit, fittings, and fasteners. The seamless HPPE blend lining reduces interior friction and hot spots during extended wear. ANSI Abrasion Level 4 performance means the glove holds up through repeated contact with rough surfaces without rapid degradation. Machine washable construction supports reuse across multiple shifts, reducing per-shift cost for service crews.
Designed as a general-purpose cut and puncture resistant work glove for trade professionals handling sharp materials, sheet metal, wire, pipe, conduit, and similar hazards in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and industrial service applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Nitrile-coated gloves should not be used near open flame or in direct contact with high-heat surfaces, as neither nitrile nor HPPE are rated for thermal protection. Machine wash according to manufacturer guidance and allow to air dry fully before reuse. Gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection and are not a substitute for rated electrical PPE where required by NFPA 70E or applicable safety standards.
