The MECHANIX WEAR S5EP-03-007 is a cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who work around sharp edges, rough surfaces, and puncture hazards. Constructed from an 18-gauge HPPE blend shell with a nitrile palm-and-finger dip coating, this glove achieves ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A7 and Puncture Level 3 ratings — two of the more demanding performance tiers in hand protection. The textured nitrile coating provides grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The seamless HPPE lining and knit cuff deliver all-day wearability. Electricians, HVAC techs, plumbers, and general construction workers who handle sheet metal, conduit, pipe, or insulation board are the primary users.
This glove is sized Small, also cross-referenced as Women's X-Small, making it appropriate for a wide range of hand sizes. The palm-coated, dipped construction keeps the glove flexible at the fingers while protecting the high-contact areas of the palm and finger pads. The knit cuff keeps debris out without restricting wrist movement. The machine-washable construction supports repeated use in job-site conditions. ANSI Abrasion Level 4 and EN 388 rating 4X42F confirm performance across multiple international standards. The gloves are paired and sold as a single pair.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove replacement within the MECHANIX WEAR S5EP-03 series. Sized Small (Men's Small, Women's X-Small) and sold as a paired set of one glove per hand.
Inspect gloves before each use for coating separation, cuts through the shell material, or degraded cuff integrity that would reduce protection level. Replace gloves when any physical damage is observed, as ANSI ratings apply only to undamaged product. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements when selecting and deploying cut-resistant gloves on a job site. Machine wash according to the manufacturer's care label to maintain coating adhesion and shell integrity.
