The MCR SAFETY VT38JHL is a double-insulated hi-visibility rain bomber jacket with a parka cut, built for trade professionals working in low-light conditions and severe weather. The shell is constructed from rip-stop polyester with a polyurethane coating for puncture resistance and long service life. A permanent polyester quilted liner combined with a zip-out fleece liner provides warmth down to -27 degrees F. Silver reflective stripes trimmed in orange exceed ANSI/ISEA Class 3 Type R and CSA Z96 Class 2 Level 2 hi-visibility standards, ensuring the wearer is visible in complex backgrounds and low-light environments.
This jacket is designed for construction workers, utility crews, road workers, and other trade professionals who require ANSI Class 3 high-visibility protection during cold and wet conditions. The detachable, zippered hood stores into the collar when not in use and features adjustable drawstring closures and hook-and-loop chin straps. A standup storm collar shields the neck and chin from wind and rain. Black shading panels in high-wear areas resist visible soiling. When paired with VT38BP bib pants, the complete suit meets CSA Z96-15 Class 3 standards.
Compatible with VT38BP bib pants; when worn together, the full suit meets CSA Z96-15 Class 3 standards. Designed as a standalone Class 3 hi-visibility rain jacket for individual use in ANSI and CSA compliant jobsite applications.
This garment is donned and adjusted by the end user and does not require installation by a licensed trade. Inspect all reflective striping and closures before each use to confirm compliance with applicable hi-visibility safety standards. Follow the manufacturer wash and care instructions to maintain the integrity of reflective materials and waterproof coatings. Replace the garment if reflective stripes show significant degradation or if the shell material is torn.
