The MCR SAFETY VCL3SLX4 is an ANSI Class 3 high-visibility safety vest constructed from polyester and designed for workers who require maximum conspicuity in high-traffic or low-light environments. The vest features 2-inch silver reflective striping in a fluorescent lime colorway, meeting the visibility demands of roadway, utility, and construction applications. Class 3 garments provide the highest level of background material and retroreflective tape coverage in the ANSI/ISEA 107 hierarchy, making this vest appropriate for workers exposed to traffic speeds above 50 mph or in complex visual environments. Worn by flaggers, utility crews, and site supervisors, it is sold individually.
This vest is suited for outdoor worksites where ANSI Class 3 compliance is required or specified by contract, safety plan, or local regulation. Typical applications include highway construction and maintenance, airport ground operations, emergency response staging, and warehouse receiving yards with active vehicle traffic. The fluorescent lime color provides daytime visibility while the silver retroreflective stripes return light at night or in low-visibility conditions. The lightweight polyester construction makes it practical for all-day wear across a range of seasons.
Designed as an ANSI/ISEA 107-compliant Class 3 safety vest for use in applications requiring the highest tier of high-visibility personal protective equipment.
No tools or fasteners are required for donning this vest. Inspect the retroreflective striping before each use and remove the vest from service if stripes show significant soiling, cracking, or delamination that reduces reflectivity. Follow the garment care label for washing instructions to maintain retroreflective performance. Compliance with applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1926.201 flagging requirements or MUTCD worker visibility guidelines is the responsibility of the employer and site safety officer.
