The MCR Safety UT1956XL is a high-visibility, multi-hazard protective glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5, Puncture Level 3, and Abrasion Level 4. Built on a 13-gauge HyperMax cut-resistant shell, the glove uses a sandy foam nitrile palm coating that grips wet and dry surfaces. Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) panels on the back of the hand deliver ANSI 138 Impact Level 1 protection. An acrylic seamless lining with added insulation provides warmth in colder working environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, sheet metal workers, electricians, and general trade professionals use this glove wherever sharp edges, puncture hazards, and abrasive surfaces are present simultaneously.
The UT1956XL is suited for commercial and industrial applications including ductwork fabrication, conduit handling, pipe fitting, glass handling, and metal parts assembly. The hi-vis lime colorway increases visibility in low-light or busy job sites. The knit wrist cuff keeps debris out during overhead or confined-space work. This glove ships as a single pair and fits X-Large hand sizes; women working in the same environment typically size to Large per manufacturer guidance.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove in the MCR Safety UT1956 series, sized for X-Large hands in unisex fit; compatible with standard PPE programs requiring ANSI/ISEA 105:2020 Cut Level A5 hand protection.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection levels. Do not use these gloves in electrical arc-flash environments, as they are not rated for electrical insulation or as a blood-borne pathogen barrier. Replace immediately if the cut-resistant shell or coating shows visible damage. Follow applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 hand protection selection requirements when incorporating into a site PPE program.
