The MCR SAFETY UT1955XXL is a cut-, puncture-, and abrasion-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. The glove features a 13-gauge HyperMax HPPE shell rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 and Puncture Level 4, making it suitable for handling sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, and fabricated components. A sandy foam nitrile coating on the palm and fingers delivers a firm grip on both dry and lightly oily surfaces. Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) panels on the back of the hand provide ANSI 138 Impact Level 1 protection. The seamless knit liner reduces hand fatigue during extended use. Sold as a single pair in a high-visibility lime and orange colorway.
These gloves are designed for general industrial, construction, HVAC sheet metal, plumbing rough-in, and electrical work where cut and puncture hazards are present. The 2XL sizing targets workers requiring a larger fit without compromising glove performance. The padded grip construction and foam nitrile coating make them well-suited for handling pipe fittings, conduit, ductwork, hardware, and other sharp-edged trade components. The hi-vis lime color improves hand visibility in low-light or congested job site conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard procurement glove within the MCR SAFETY UT1955 series. Size 2XL fits men labeled 2X-Large and women labeled 3X-Large per manufacturer sizing.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection. These gloves do not provide electrical insulation and are not rated for live electrical work — follow NFPA 70E arc flash and shock protection requirements when working on energized systems. Replace gloves when the cut or puncture resistance layer shows visible wear or breach. Wash according to manufacturer care instructions to maintain coating integrity and liner performance.
