The MCR SAFETY UT1954XL is a cut-resistant mechanics knit glove built for trade professionals who need grip, dexterity, and hand protection during demanding job tasks. The glove features a 13-gauge salt pepper HyperMax HPPE shell rated for cut resistance, paired with a red sandy nitrile foam coating across the palm and fingers. That porous nitrile foam coating grips in wet, oily, and dry conditions while adding abrasion and puncture resistance. The back-of-hand thermoplastic rubber (TPR) overlay delivers Level 1 impact protection and is colored hi-vis red to keep hands visible on the job. Sold as a pair in X-Large sizing.
These gloves are suited for mechanics, maintenance technicians, HVAC installers, plumbers, and electricians who work with tools, hardware, and equipment in residential and commercial settings. The combination of cut resistance, impact protection, and tactile grip makes them a fit for assembly work, part handling, fastener work, and general mechanical service where both dexterity and protection are required. The nitrile foam coating performs in environments where light oils and fluids are present.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-use glove for trade professionals requiring cut-resistant, impact-protective hand protection in mechanical and maintenance applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or TPR damage. Gloves with compromised coating or shell should not be used in cut or impact hazard environments. Follow your site or employer PPE program requirements when selecting hand protection for specific hazard levels. Dispose of and replace gloves when protective properties are visibly degraded.
