The MCR SAFETY UT1954M is a cut-resistant mechanics glove built for trade and industrial professionals who need both dexterity and hand protection in demanding work environments. The glove is constructed with a 13-gauge salt-and-pepper HyperMax HPPE knit shell rated at ANSI A5 cut resistance. The palm and fingers are coated in red sandy nitrile foam, which improves grip on oily and wet surfaces while adding abrasion and puncture resistance. A thermoplastic rubber (TPR) panel on the back of the hand delivers Level 1 impact protection. The hi-vis red TPR coloring also improves hand visibility on the job site.
The UT1954M is suited for mechanical assembly, maintenance, automotive service, and general industrial tasks where workers handle sharp materials, fasteners, or slippery components. The nitrile foam coating is porous, allowing it to conform and grip under wet or oily conditions common in mechanical and plumbing work environments. This glove is sold as a pair and is available in Medium sizing. Minimum order quantity is 12 pairs per the supplier unit of measure.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use mechanics glove for general industrial, mechanical, and maintenance applications requiring ANSI A5 cut resistance and impact protection.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or TPR panel damage. Do not use damaged gloves where cut or impact hazards are present. Follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 personal protective equipment standards for hand protection selection and use. Gloves should be sized correctly to maintain dexterity and grip function.
