The MCR SAFETY UT1953M is a cut- and puncture-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who handle sharp materials, rough surfaces, and impact hazards. The glove shell is a 13-gauge HyperMax HPPE knit rated ANSI Cut Level A4, with a red sandy foam nitrile coating on the palm and fingertips for grip and abrasion resistance. The back of hand features a HyperMax thermoplastic rubber (TPR) overlay that meets ANSI 138 Impact Level 1. Abrasion resistance is rated ANSI Level 4. The UT1953M is sold as a pair in size Medium and weighs 0.04 pounds per unit.
The UT1953M suits tasks common in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sheet metal, construction, and general industrial work where workers contact sharp edges, glass, wire, or abrasive surfaces. The foam nitrile palm coating is designed to grip in dry and lightly oily conditions, while the padded palm reduces fatigue during extended use. The knit cuff and seamless lining promote dexterity, making the glove suitable for jobs that require handling small fittings, fasteners, or tools without removing hand protection. The glove is unisex and fits a men's Medium or women's Small hand.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-purchase work glove in the MCR SAFETY UT1953 Series, sized for a men's Medium or women's Small hand.
Work gloves should be inspected before each use for tears, coating separation, or shell damage that would compromise cut or puncture protection. Replace immediately if the shell or coating shows signs of wear that reduce the rated protection level. Gloves should be matched to the specific hazard level of the task — the A4 cut rating is appropriate for sharp sheet metal, glass, and wire handling but does not replace cut-resistant sleeves where forearm exposure exists.
