The MCR Safety RT112AF is a polycarbonate wrap-around safety glass from the RT1 Series, designed for industrial and trade environments where eye protection against impact, debris, and UV exposure is required. The frame is lightweight nylon with a silver temple finish, and the gray anti-fog lens is treated with a Duramass scratch-resistant coating. The lens filters 99.9% of UV rays. A closed-cell foam seal runs along the frame perimeter to block fine particles and debris, making this glass suitable for grinding, cutting, and similar high-debris tasks. Safety professionals, tradespeople, and general industry workers are the primary users.
The RT112AF is built for both indoor and outdoor use. The gray lens tint reduces glare in bright conditions, making it practical for outdoor job sites and well-lit industrial floors. The 3-position ratcheting bayonet temples are interchangeable and ship with each pair alongside an adjustable hook-and-loop headband that can be tightened with one hand while wearing. Full-length non-slip TPR temple sleeves add grip and comfort during extended wear. This combination of temple and headband options allows the RT112AF to adapt to different head sizes and task requirements without additional accessories.
Designed for use as a standalone safety eyewear solution compatible with the RT1 Series interchangeable temple system; no specific equipment or vehicle compatibility applies.
No tools are required to switch between the bayonet temples and headband configurations. Inspect the lens and foam seal before each use and replace if damaged or degraded. Clean the anti-fog lens with a soft, damp cloth only — abrasive materials will compromise the coating. Comply with applicable ANSI Z87.1 eye and face protection standards for your jobsite requirements.
