The MCR Safety PD2901M Predator mechanics glove is a medium-sized, synthetic-palm impact glove designed for trade professionals working in demanding environments. The palm features a textured PVC coating over a synthetic base, delivering enhanced grip and durability on oily, wet, or abrasive surfaces. The back of the hand and thumb are covered in a patented Tire Tread TPR design that absorbs and deflects impact energy. A high-visibility lime spandex back provides two-way stretch for a secure, comfortable fit during extended use on the job site.
The PD2901M is a recognized choice in the oil and gas industry and is well-suited for mechanical work, construction, maintenance, and other trades where impact resistance and grip are critical. The reinforced thumb crotch adds durability in a high-wear area, while synthetic fourchettes between the fingers promote breathability. A hook-and-loop wrist closure keeps the glove secure, and an integrated ID panel allows workers to write their initials for quick identification in crew environments.
Designed as an OEM-style mechanics and impact glove suitable for oil and gas, construction, mechanical maintenance, and general trade applications where grip and back-of-hand impact protection are required.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or TPR delamination that may compromise protection. Gloves are sold in pairs and sized for medium hands. Follow applicable worksite PPE requirements and employer safety programs when selecting hand protection for specific hazard levels. Do not use damaged gloves on energized equipment or in applications requiring electrical insulation.
