The MCR SAFETY MU3634KXXL is a heavy-duty utility driver glove built for cut resistance and abrasion protection in demanding field environments. Constructed from top-grain brown goatskin leather, the glove delivers the tactile feedback needed when handling cable, hardware, and rigging. A second layer of goatskin across the palm, fingertips, and knuckles adds reinforced protection without limiting hand movement. DuPont Kevlar thread is used on all stitch lines to resist seam failure under load, and a full Kevlar lining throughout the glove provides consistent cut protection. Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) panels on the back of the hand, fingers, and thumb guard against impact and abrasion from the dorsal side.
The MU3634KXXL is sized at 2X-Large and is designed for utility industry professionals including linemen, electricians, and maintenance crews working with poles, cables, transmission equipment, and general utility infrastructure. The double-palm construction makes it well suited for high-wear tasks such as wire pulling, rigging setup, and repetitive gripping on rough surfaces. A shirred elastic wrist closure helps keep the glove seated securely during active use. This glove is sold individually (each) and is intended for professional trade use in both overhead and ground-level utility work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-issue work glove for utility, electrical, and general trade professionals requiring ANSI-level cut resistance and leather durability in a driver-style glove.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, seam separation, or TPR panel delamination that may reduce protection. Worn by electricians and utility workers operating under NFPA 70E and OSHA general industry standards — confirm glove ratings meet the specific arc flash and cut hazard requirements of the task before use. Allow leather gloves to dry naturally away from direct heat sources to preserve material integrity. Do not use damaged gloves where cut or impact hazards are present.
