The MCR SAFETY MU3624M is a utility driver work glove built for electrical and utility trade professionals who need arc flash protection combined with all-day dexterity. Constructed from premium top-grain brown goatskin leather, the MU3624M carries an arc rating of 28.6 cal/cm2 (HRC2 / CAT2) and a Heat Attenuation Factor (HAF) of 94 percent. A double-palm design places a second layer of goatskin over the palm, fingertips, thumb crotch, index finger, and knuckle for added abrasion resistance without reducing feel. All seams are double-stitched with DuPont Kevlar thread to resist seam blowout and extend wear life. A shirred elastic wrist provides a secure fit during active use.
The MU3624M is sized Medium and fits standard hand dimensions for that size range. This glove is designed for utility industry fieldwork including overhead line work, equipment handling, and hands-on tasks where arc flash exposure is a hazard. The unlined interior and soft goatskin construction keep the glove comfortable even in warm or sweaty conditions, making it suitable for extended wear during full shift use. It is sold as a pair.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit utility driver glove for electrical and utility trade applications requiring arc-rated hand protection at HRC2 / CAT2 levels.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or compromised seams that could reduce arc flash protection. Arc-rated gloves must be used in conjunction with a complete arc flash PPE ensemble per NFPA 70E requirements. Gloves should be stored away from sharp objects, chemicals, and direct sunlight to preserve leather integrity and arc rating performance.
