The MCR SAFETY MU3624KXXL is a cut-resistant utility driver glove built for demanding field work in the electrical utility, construction, and industrial trades. The glove is constructed from premium brown top-grain goatskin leather and lined with a 13-gauge DuPont Kevlar knit for reliable cut protection. A wing-style thumb and fourchette panels maintain dexterity while strategically placed double layers of goatskin on the palm, fingertips, thumb crotch, index finger, and knuckle add reinforcement in high-wear zones. All seams are double-stitched with DuPont Kevlar thread to resist seam blowout under heavy use. The shirred elastic wrist provides a secure fit. This glove carries an arc rating of 61.4 cal/cm2, making it appropriate for energized work applications where arc flash exposure is a concern.
The MU3624KXXL is sized at 2X-Large and is designed for utility field technicians, linemen, electricians, and heavy industrial workers who need a full-day glove that holds up to abrasion, cut hazards, and arc flash risk. The top-grain goatskin leather resists abrasion better than split leather and remains soft and pliable during extended wear, including in sweaty or warm conditions. Sold as a pair, this glove is appropriate for both overhead line work and ground-level transmission and distribution tasks where cut and arc protection are required simultaneously.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove for utility field applications requiring combined cut resistance and arc flash protection in a leather driver-style form factor.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or seam separation that may compromise protection. For arc-rated applications, verify the glove arc rating meets or exceeds the incident energy level established by the site arc flash hazard analysis per NFPA 70E requirements. Do not use gloves that show visible damage on energized work. Gloves should be stored away from direct sunlight, oil, and solvents to preserve leather integrity and Kevlar liner performance.
