The MCR SAFETY MU3624GKXXL is a cut-resistant utility driver glove built for demanding work in the electrical utility and lineman trades. Constructed from premium brown goatskin leather with a 13-gauge Kevlar liner, this glove delivers ANSI-level cut protection while maintaining the dexterity needed to work with small hardware and energized components. It carries an arc flash rating of 61.4 cal/cm2 and a Heat Attenuation Factor (HAF) of 95.6 percent, making it a viable choice where arc flash exposure is a concern. The gauntlet cuff measures 4 inches and includes a shirred elastic wrist for a secure fit. This is a size 2X-Large glove sold as a pair.
Designed for electrical utility field work, this glove suits applications such as transmission line construction, substation maintenance, and general utility service where both cut hazards and arc flash exposure are present. The double-palm construction adds reinforcement in high-wear zones including the fingertips, thumb crotch, index finger, and knuckle areas. Fourchette panels between the fingers improve fit and reduce bunching. All seams are double-stitched with Kevlar thread to resist seam blowout under sustained mechanical stress. It is appropriate for both male and female utility workers operating in the field.
Designed as an OEM-style utility work glove for electrical lineman, transmission, and general utility field applications requiring combined cut resistance and arc flash protection.
Inspection of PPE before each use is required per OSHA general industry and construction standards. Gloves should be inspected for cuts, punctures, or seam separation prior to donning, particularly in arc flash environments. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable NFPA 70E requirements when selecting gloves for energized electrical work. Retire and replace gloves when the leather shows cracking, the liner is exposed, or seam integrity is compromised.
