The MCR SAFETY MU3624GKM is a cut-resistant leather utility glove built for the demands of the utility and electrical trades. Constructed from premium brown goatskin leather, the glove is lined with a 13-gauge Kevlar knit that delivers ANSI-level cut protection across the hand. The glove carries an arc flash rating of 61.4 cal/cm2 and a Heat Attenuation Factor (HAF) of 95.6%, making it a dual-hazard solution for technicians working in both mechanical and energized environments. A licensed electrician, lineman, or utility worker installs and relies on this glove where both cut and arc exposure are daily realities.
The MU3624GKM is designed for utility field work including overhead line work, substation maintenance, and transmission infrastructure tasks. The double-palm construction adds layered goatskin over the palm, fingertips, thumb crotch, index finger, and knuckle — areas that absorb the most wear during high-grip and abrasion-intensive tasks. The 4-inch gauntlet cuff provides wrist and lower-forearm coverage. Fourchette panels between fingers improve glove fit and dexterity for precise hand work. This glove is sold in a Medium size and packaged as a pair.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-issue utility glove for medium-handed workers in electrical, lineman, and general utility trade applications requiring combined cut and arc-flash protection.
These gloves are donned by qualified electrical and utility workers as part of a complete PPE ensemble. Arc-rated gloves must be matched to the appropriate arc flash hazard category per NFPA 70E before use in energized work. Inspect gloves for cuts, tears, or contamination before each use. Do not use as a substitute for rated rubber insulating gloves where dielectric protection is required.
