The MCR SAFETY k9697m is a cut-resistant, cold-insulated knit glove from the Kodiak series, designed for trade and industrial workers who handle sharp materials in wet or cold environments. The glove is built on a 13-gauge knit shell with an acrylic terry lining for insulation and a sandy latex palm coating applied by dipping. The sandy latex surface delivers strong grip on wet and dry workpieces. With an ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A4 rating and an ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Level 4, this glove is suited for tasks involving sheet metal, glass handling, and similar laceration hazards. It is touchscreen compatible and sold in packages of 12 pairs.
This glove is intended for use in environments where cold conditions and cut hazards occur together, such as cold storage facilities, metal fabrication shops, glass handling operations, and outdoor construction in low temperatures. The acrylic terry lining provides insulation rated EN 511 2,001, making it appropriate for cold-condition work. The palm-coverage sandy latex coating improves grip when handling wet workpieces. Note that latex coatings are not recommended for use when handling oily parts. This glove is not latex-free and contains no silicone. It is FDA compliant and carries a left-and-right-hand style configuration.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit option for size Medium (numeric size 8) cut-resistant glove applications requiring ANSI/ISEA A4 cut protection with cold insulation and latex palm coating.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or degradation of the latex coating. Do not use these gloves when handling oily parts, as latex loses grip performance in oily conditions. Replace gloves immediately if the coating shows cracking, peeling, or loss of grip. Follow applicable workplace PPE standards and ANSI/ISEA 105:2024 requirements when selecting gloves for specific hazard levels.
