The MCR SAFETY CL319AF is a foam-lined safety glasses model in the Checklite CL3 series, designed for eye protection in environments where airborne particles and fogging are ongoing hazards. The CL3 builds on the original Checklite CL1 platform by adding a vented, closed-cell EVA foam lining along the inner lens perimeter. This foam creates a near-total seal around the eye orbit, blocking dust, debris, and other particles. The lens is an Indoor/Outdoor clear mirror finish with an anti-fog coating. Lightweight construction keeps fatigue low during extended wear. Meets ANSI Z87 high-impact standards. Installed by safety managers, industrial supervisors, and jobsite leads across general industry, construction, and manufacturing environments.
The CL319AF is suited for indoor and outdoor use where variable light conditions require a versatile lens tint. The clear mirror lens reduces glare in bright outdoor conditions while maintaining acceptable visibility indoors. The foam lining makes this model appropriate for dusty or particle-heavy environments such as woodworking, grinding, masonry, landscaping, and light chemical handling. Spatula temples provide a stable, comfortable fit under hard hats or other headgear. The anti-fog coating supports use in humid or high-exertion conditions where standard safety glasses are prone to lens fogging.
Designed as an OEM-style personal protective equipment item for general-industry eye protection programs requiring ANSI Z87-compliant safety glasses with foam lining.
No tools required for deployment. Safety coordinators and supervisors should verify fit before issuing to workers, confirming the foam seal contacts the face evenly around the eye orbit. Inspect the foam lining periodically for compression or contamination and replace the glasses when the seal is compromised. Store away from solvents and extreme heat to preserve foam and lens coating integrity.
