The MCR Safety 96699XXL is a lightweight, economy-grade work glove built for tasks that demand tactile sensitivity and reliable grip. It features a 13-gauge black polyester shell with a polyurethane coating applied to the palm and fingertips. That PU layer improves grip on small components and smooth surfaces while providing moderate abrasion resistance. Each glove is individually poly-bagged by the pair and includes a color-coded hem for quick size identification in the field. Manufactured without silicone, making them suitable for applications where silicone contamination is a concern.
These gloves are suited for light-duty assembly, parts handling, inspection, and general maintenance tasks in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and light industrial environments. The 13-gauge knit construction keeps the glove thin enough for detailed hand work, such as handling small fasteners, fittings, or wiring components. The PU palm and fingertip coating maintains dexterity while reducing wear from repetitive gripping. Sized at 2X-Large, this SKU fits larger hand profiles without restricting movement.
Designed as a general-purpose light-duty work glove suitable for use across trade and light industrial applications where dexterity and basic hand protection are required.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears or coating separation, particularly at the fingertips. Gloves should be replaced when the PU coating shows significant wear, cracking, or loss of grip. These gloves are not rated for cut, puncture, or chemical hazards beyond light abrasion resistance. Consult applicable OSHA hand protection requirements and your site safety program to confirm suitability for the intended task.
