The MCR SAFETY 962L is a large-size mechanics glove built for industrial and trade workers who need grip, dexterity, and hand protection in demanding environments. The palm is constructed from water-resistant goatskin leather, chosen for its durability and tactile feel. A super-stretch knuckle region allows full range of motion during tool use or rope handling. A reinforced steel cable and rope channel, lined with Kevlar, runs through the glove to resist abrasion and cut forces in high-stress pull applications. Silicone tire-tread patterning on the palm and MAXGRID fingertips deliver strong grip on wet or dry surfaces.
These gloves are suited for mechanical work, rigging, cable pulling, and general industrial tasks where hand fatigue and abrasion are primary concerns. The TaskFit design targets a secure, form-fitting feel across a range of hand shapes. The reinforced index finger and thumb crotch address two of the most commonly damaged areas in gloves used for grip-intensive work. A pull loop aids donning when hands are fatigued or gloved. The adjustable wrist closure allows a snug fit to keep debris out during overhead or confined-space work. Sold as a pair.
Designed as a large-size mechanics glove for general industrial, mechanical, and rigging applications requiring leather palm protection and dexterous fit.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or delamination of the palm material that could compromise protection. Do not use damaged gloves near rotating equipment or pinch points. Follow your facility PPE program and applicable ANSI or OSHA hand protection requirements when selecting gloves for specific hazard levels.
