The MCR SAFETY 9397S is a lightweight Kevlar string knit glove engineered for general purpose cut and abrasion resistance. Built from ultra-light economy Kevlar fiber in a plain knit shell, it delivers meaningful hand protection without the bulk that slows repetitive hand tasks. At 13 gauge thickness, the knit construction balances dexterity and protection, making this glove well suited for tasks involving sharp edges, sheet material handling, or light fabrication work. Licensed by DuPont as a certified Kevlar glove manufacturer, MCR SAFETY produces the 9397S to meet the demands of tradespeople who work with their hands all day and need protection that does not get in the way.
The 9397S is sized Small and colored yellow for visibility on the job site. It is sold by the pair and packaged for multi-pair orders with a minimum quantity of 12 pairs. Ideal applications include HVAC sheet metal handling, light electrical work involving sharp conduit edges, plumbing rough-in tasks near cut copper or PEX, and general warehouse or assembly operations where cut and abrasion hazards are present. The ultra-light construction reduces hand fatigue during extended wear.
Designed as a general purpose cut and abrasion resistant glove suitable for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and light industrial applications where hand protection against sharp objects is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, fraying, or compromised knit that may reduce protection. Kevlar gloves are not a substitute for arc flash or heavy-duty puncture protection — verify the correct glove category for your specific hazard. Gloves should be replaced when visible wear or damage is present. Follow your employer safety program and applicable OSHA hand protection guidelines when selecting and using cut resistant gloves.
