The MCR SAFETY 9388NFXXL is a pair of cut-resistant work gloves engineered for trades and industrial environments where hand protection against sharp edges, abrasion, and puncture hazards is critical. Built on an 18-gauge seamless Kevlar shell, these gloves carry an ANSI/ISEA 105:2020 Cut Level A6 rating along with Abrasion Level 6 and Puncture Level 3 ratings under ANSI 105:2016. The palm and fingers are coated in black foam nitrile, providing a secure grip on both dry and lightly oily surfaces. A reinforced thumb crotch extends durability at one of the highest wear points on any work glove.
These gloves are suited for use in HVAC sheet metal work, electrical panel assembly, plumbing rough-in, and general mechanical trades where workers handle formed metal, conduit, copper pipe, or other materials with sharp edges or burrs. The touchscreen-compatible palm allows interaction with tablets and mobile devices without removing the glove, which is practical on job sites where documentation and diagnostics run on handheld devices. The knit cuff with red contrast cuff closure keeps the glove secure at the wrist. Sized for 2X-Large hands, they are sold as a pair.
Part of the MCR SAFETY 9388NF series. Sized 2X-Large (unisex). Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant glove for trade professionals handling sheet metal, conduit, pipe, glass, or other sharp-edged materials in commercial and residential settings.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could reduce protection levels. These gloves do not provide arc flash, electrical insulation, or chemical immersion protection — select the appropriate PPE class for electrical live-work or chemical handling tasks. Replace gloves when the Kevlar shell shows visible fiber damage or when the nitrile coating is worn through at the palm or fingertips.
