The MCR SAFETY 93868XL is a 7-gauge cut resistant glove built for trade professionals who work around sharp edges, metal, glass, sheet stock, and fabricated parts. The shell blends DuPont Kevlar, stainless steel fiber, and nylon to deliver cut and abrasion resistance without sacrificing hand mobility. PVC stripes are applied to the palm side to improve grip on tools and workpieces and to add a secondary layer of abrasion protection. Sold as a pair, the glove is sized X-Large and finished in blue for easy visual identification on the job site.
The 93868XL is suited for general-purpose industrial and construction work where contact with sharp objects is routine — sheet metal handling, glass installation, light fabrication, automotive disassembly, and similar trades. The 7-gauge knit construction keeps the glove low-profile enough for tasks requiring manual dexterity, while the Kevlar and steel fiber blend handles the cut hazard. The PVC stripe pattern on the palm maintains grip even when handling smooth or lightly oiled surfaces.
Designed as a general-purpose cut resistant glove for industrial, construction, and manufacturing applications where ANSI-rated hand protection against sharp objects is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, fraying, or worn areas in the palm stripe that may reduce grip or protection. Replace any glove showing visible damage to the shell fibers. Follow your site safety program and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements when selecting glove use cases. Launder per manufacturer guidelines to maintain fiber integrity.
