The MCR SAFETY 93860S is a 7-gauge uncoated cut-resistant glove built for general-purpose work involving sharp objects. The shell blends Kevlar fiber, stainless steel fiber, and additional high-performance fibers to deliver cut and abrasion resistance without sacrificing hand movement. The uncoated construction keeps the glove lightweight and maximizes dexterity, making it well suited for tasks that require feel and precision. This is a sold-by-the-pair glove sized for small hands. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and general tradespeople handling sheet metal, wire, or other sharp materials are the primary installers and users of this product.
The 93860S fits general light-to-medium industrial and trade work environments where cut protection is needed but hand sensitivity cannot be fully sacrificed. The uncoated finger and palm surface is appropriate for dry applications where grip from a coating is not required. The 7-gauge knit provides a balance of protection and breathability. This glove is the uncoated variant in the Cut Proa line with Heroa Technology, distinguishing it from striped or dotted versions that add grip and durability at the cost of some dexterity.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-issue cut-resistant glove for general trade and light industrial work applications requiring ANSI cut protection in a small hand size.
Cut-resistant gloves are donned as personal protective equipment before handling sharp materials such as sheet metal, wire conduit, or tubing. Inspect gloves for cuts, abrasion through-wear, or fiber separation before each use and replace if the shell is compromised. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or chemical resistance and should not be substituted for gloves rated for those hazards. Follow applicable OSHA PPE requirements and jobsite safety plans when selecting hand protection.
