The MCR Safety 9381SLH is a 7-gauge cut resistant glove built on the Steelcore II platform, which wraps strands of stainless steel with polyester fiber for a combination of cut protection, strength, and wearable comfort. PVC blocks on one side add grip and an additional barrier against cuts. The glove is constructed with FDA-accepted materials, making it suitable for food processing environments where cut hazards and sanitation requirements must both be addressed. Sold individually, each glove is hemmed in a color-coded band for fast size identification at the job site or in the storeroom.
The 9381SLH is sized Small and is intended for food processing facilities, meat cutting operations, glass handling, sheet metal work, and similar applications where laceration risk is high. The stainless steel and polyester construction can be laundered repeatedly without shrinkage, supporting extended service life in high-turnover environments. Note that this glove is available as a right-hand or left-hand unit and must be specified at time of order. It is sold as a single glove, not a pair.
Designed as a single cut resistant glove for food processing, glass handling, and sheet metal applications where ANSI cut protection is required. Specify right-hand or left-hand configuration when ordering.
Inspect the glove before each use for broken steel strands, worn spots, or compromised PVC blocks that may reduce cut protection. Follow the facility or employer safety program for glove inspection intervals and replacement criteria. Launder according to the manufacturer care instructions to maintain structural integrity. Do not use as protection against puncture hazards unless the glove has been rated and labeled for puncture resistance.
