The MCR SAFETY 9366BKL is a cut and abrasion resistant work glove built from 100% DuPont Kevlar fiber in a 7 gauge string knit construction. Black PVC dots are applied to both sides of the glove, providing grip on both the palm and back of the hand when handling sharp materials, sheet stock, or fabricated parts. The glove ships as a pair and is sized Large. The black color is intentional — it resists visible soiling during heavy use, extending the perceived service life in dirty work environments. Licensed tradespeople and general-industry workers who handle sharp objects in light fabrication, HVAC sheet metal work, assembly, or material handling are the primary users of this glove style.
This glove is suited for general-purpose applications where cut and abrasion resistance is required without sacrificing dexterity. The regular-weight Kevlar knit keeps the glove form-fitting enough for tasks that require hand mobility, such as duct fabrication, pipe handling, glass handling, or sheet metal layout. PVC dot coating on both sides improves grip on smooth or oily surfaces. The black colorway is a practical choice for field technicians and shop workers who need a glove that stays presentable through a full workday.
Designed as a general-purpose cut resistant glove for trade and industrial applications including HVAC sheet metal work, light fabrication, assembly, and material handling where cut and abrasion protection is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, abrasions, or degraded PVC dots that may reduce protection or grip. Kevlar gloves do not provide protection against all cut hazards — verify the cut resistance level meets the requirements of the specific task before use. Replace when fabric shows visible wear, holes, or reduced coating adhesion. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards (29 CFR 1910.138) when selecting and using cut resistant PPE.
