The MCR SAFETY 9273SPUL is a cut-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who handle sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, or bladed components in demanding environments. Constructed with a 13-gauge HyperMax HPPE blend shell, the glove achieves an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level of A9, the highest tier in the ANSI cut rating system, along with ANSI Puncture Resistance Level 3 and ANSI Abrasion Resistance Level 4. A polyurethane palm coating with a sandy grip texture gives wearers reliable dexterity and grip across both wet and dry surfaces. The glove is unlined, keeping the profile slim for tasks requiring tactile feedback. It also supports touchscreen device use without removal and carries FDA accepted status.
The 9273SPUL is suited for residential and commercial trade work where high cut hazards are present, including HVAC fabrication, sheet metal handling, plumbing rough-in, electrical conduit work, and general industrial maintenance. The knit cuff and 10-inch overall length provide wrist coverage during overhead or tight-space work. The palm-coated design leaves the back of the hand breathable while the HPPE blend back maintains cut protection across the full glove surface. Sold as a pair in a single-pack unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-issue cut-resistant glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A9-rated hand protection in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general industrial service applications.
Cut-resistant gloves should be inspected before each use for tears, coating separation, or compromised seams that would reduce protection. Always match the glove cut level to the specific hazard assessment for the task per ANSI/ISEA 105 guidelines. Replace gloves when the coating or shell shows visible wear that could reduce the rated protection level.
