The MCR SAFETY 918M is a cut-protection mechanics glove built for cold, greasy, and high-abrasion work environments. The palm is constructed from synthetic leather reinforced with a PVC-coated material layer, delivering grip, dexterity, and durability through demanding mechanical tasks. A Dupont Kevlar full sock liner runs throughout the glove, providing continuous cut resistance across the hand. The glove is also insulated and fitted with a waterproof bladder, making it viable for cold-weather service. An adjustable closure at the wrist secures fit during active use. This glove is sized Medium and is sold as a pair.
The 918M is intended for mechanics, technicians, and trade professionals who work in environments combining cut hazards with cold temperatures, moisture, or petroleum-based contaminants. The two-way stretch material on the back of the hand supports hand movement without restricting grip. A reinforced thumb crotch adds durability at one of the highest-wear contact points on a mechanics glove. Typical applications include automotive service, HVAC equipment handling, plumbing rough-in, and general mechanical maintenance in cold or wet conditions.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-protection mechanics glove for trade and industrial applications requiring grip, cut resistance, and cold-weather insulation in a Medium hand size.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or delamination of the palm coating that could reduce protection. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection requirements and consult the glove cut rating against task-specific hazard assessments. Replace gloves when the Kevlar liner, palm reinforcement, or waterproof bladder show signs of wear or breach.
