The MCR SAFETY 9188SFBL is a cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant knit glove built for trade professionals who work around sharp materials, wire, sheet metal, and rough components. The glove is constructed from an 18-gauge Kevlar shell with a foam nitrile coating applied to the palm and fingertips. The A4 ANSI/ISEA cut resistance rating and ANSI/ISEA puncture resistance level 2 rating make it suitable for tasks requiring both dexterity and meaningful hand protection. The foam nitrile coating provides grip on dry and lightly oily surfaces. The glove ships individually but is sold in minimum order quantities of 12.
This glove is designed for hand-protection applications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical trades where workers handle ductwork, conduit, copper pipe, insulation, and similar materials with sharp edges or rough surfaces. The size Large (numeric size 9) fits most adult male and female hands in the Large range. The knit cuff and unlined interior keep the profile slim, supporting tool handling without bulk. The black coating color resists surface soiling in field conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove in size Large for trade and industrial hand-protection applications requiring ANSI/ISEA A4 cut resistance with foam nitrile grip coating.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Gloves should be replaced when the Kevlar shell or nitrile coating shows visible damage. For electrical work, confirm the glove's dielectric rating independently, as these gloves are not rated as electrical insulating gloves. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection requirements and jobsite PPE policies when selecting and using cut-resistant gloves.
