The MCR SAFETY 9188PUBL is a hand-specific cut and puncture resistant glove built for trade professionals who work around sharp edges, fasteners, sheet metal, conduit, and similar hazards. The shell is constructed from 18-gauge Kevlar, rated ANSI/ISEA A4 for cut resistance and Level 2 for puncture resistance. A black polyurethane coating covers the palm and fingertips, delivering grip and abrasion resistance at the contact zones while keeping the back of the hand breathable. The knit cuff and unlined interior provide a secure, comfortable fit for extended wear. At 0.1 pounds per glove and 10 inches in overall length, the profile is low-profile enough for detail work on terminals, fittings, and fixtures.
These gloves are suited for residential and light commercial trade work including HVAC sheet metal handling, plumbing rough-in, electrical panel work, and pool equipment service. Any task requiring dexterity near sharp edges or abrasive surfaces benefits from the palm-and-fingertip coating coverage. The glove is sized Large (numeric size 9) and is hand-specific, so left and right gloves are not interchangeable. They ship individually as a single pair and are appropriate for job-site daily use where cut and puncture protection at ANSI A4 is required or preferred by the employer.
Designed as a direct-fit Large (numeric size 9) work glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI/ISEA A4 cut resistance. Part of the MCR SAFETY 9188PUB series.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, abrasions, or coating separation that may compromise protection. These gloves do not provide electrical insulation and are not a substitute for rated electrical PPE when working on energized circuits. Replace when the Kevlar shell or polyurethane coating shows visible wear through. Follow your employer or site safety program for PPE inspection and replacement intervals.
