The MCR SAFETY 9178NFXXXL is a knit cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant glove designed for trade professionals who work with sharp materials, metal components, or abrasive surfaces. Built on a 13-gauge Kevlar shell, the glove carries an ANSI/ISEA A4 cut resistance rating, a Level 2 puncture resistance rating, and an ANSI/ISEA Level 4 abrasion resistance rating. The palm and fingertips are coated in black foam nitrile, which provides grip on both dry and lightly oily surfaces while maintaining tactile sensitivity for detail work. This glove is sold as a pair in size 3X-Large.
This glove is suited for use in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sheet metal, and general mechanical trade environments where hand protection against cuts and punctures is required. The foam nitrile palm coating supports grip during component handling, pipe work, and duct fabrication. The knit Kevlar construction keeps the glove lightweight and flexible enough for tasks that require manual dexterity. The black colorway is noted to conceal dirt and grime during extended use. Touchscreen compatibility allows use with mobile devices and digital controls without removing the glove.
Designed as a general-purpose cut and puncture-resistant glove for trade professionals. Part of the MCR SAFETY 9178NF series. Sized 3X-Large (men's 3X-Large fit) and sold as a pair.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that may compromise protection. Kevlar-based gloves do not replace arc flash or high-voltage PPE — verify the appropriate PPE class for electrical tasks per NFPA 70E requirements. Replace gloves when the cut or puncture resistance is visibly compromised. Follow jobsite PPE policies and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements for the specific hazard class.
