The MCR SAFETY 9174OT is a cut-resistant arm sleeve designed to protect workers in environments where blade, edge, or abrasion hazards are present. Constructed from Kevlar, this sleeve meets ANSI Cut Level A5 protection standards, making it suitable for demanding applications in fabrication, sheet metal, glass handling, and similar trades. The universal fit accommodates a wide range of arm sizes, and the 14-inch overall length provides substantial forearm and lower arm coverage. A continuous knit cuff closure keeps the sleeve securely in place during work, while the built-in thumb hole prevents the sleeve from riding up or shifting during use.
This sleeve is well suited for industrial and trade environments where workers need arm protection without the bulk of a full glove or sleeve system. Typical applications include HVAC sheet metal work, electrical conduit handling, plumbing rough-in with metal pipe, and light manufacturing. The high-visibility orange color improves worker visibility on job sites and in facilities where safety protocols require conspicuous PPE. It is sold and packaged as a single sleeve.
Designed as an OEM-style cut-resistant sleeve for use as standalone arm protection PPE in industrial, construction, and trade service applications.
This sleeve is donned and doffed by hand and requires no tools for use. Inspect the sleeve before each use for cuts, fraying, or compromised material that would reduce its cut resistance rating. Follow your employer or job site PPE program guidelines when determining whether this sleeve alone meets the required protection level for a given task. Launder according to manufacturer care instructions to maintain fabric integrity and cut protection performance.
