The MCR SAFETY 90780M is an 18-gauge cut resistant glove built on a DSM Dyneema Diamond Technology shell with a black sandy nitrile foam coating across the palm and fingers. Dyneema Diamond Technology delivers high-cut protection without steel or glass fiber reinforcement, eliminating the discomfort of steel fibers and the brittleness and shortened service life associated with glass fiber construction. The nitrile foam coating adds grip across wet and dry surfaces. These gloves are launderable, extending usable service life, and the black color is embedded into the fiber rather than applied as a dye, so the shade holds throughout the glove's lifespan.
The 90780M is suited for trade and industrial environments where cut hazards are present and dexterity must be maintained. Typical applications include handling sheet metal, glass, fabricated components, and other sharp-edged materials encountered in HVAC installation, plumbing rough-in, electrical work, and general mechanical trades. The sandy nitrile foam palm is particularly effective in applications where both dry and lightly oily surfaces are encountered. The glove is sold in pairs and sized for a medium hand.
Designed as an OEM-style cut resistant work glove for trade professionals requiring dexterity and cut protection in medium-duty to heavy-duty hand protection applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that may compromise protection. Launder per manufacturer guidelines using mild detergent and allow to air dry to preserve coating integrity. Replace immediately if the shell shows visible fiber damage or the nitrile coating delaminates. Gloves do not substitute for lockout/tagout procedures when working on energized or pressurized systems.
