The MCR SAFETY 906S is a small-sized mechanics glove built for hands-on trade work where grip, dexterity, and hand protection all matter. The palm is constructed from white grain goatskin leather with a yellow goatskin patch reinforcing the palm and fingertips for added wear resistance in high-abrasion zones. A reinforced thumb crotch addresses one of the most common failure points in mechanics gloves. The back of the glove uses a nylon and spandex blend that keeps the hand cool and allows full finger articulation during repetitive tasks. Foam knuckle padding provides impact protection without sacrificing range of motion. An adjustable hook-and-loop wrist closure secures the fit across varying hand sizes.
The 906S fits a wide range of trade applications including automotive service, HVAC installation, electrical rough-in, plumbing, and general mechanical work. The combination of a natural leather palm and a flexible spandex back makes it well-suited for tasks that require both grip and tactile feedback, such as handling fittings, fasteners, wire, and small components. The small sizing is intended for professionals or trainees who require a closer fit to maintain tool control. Sold as a pair.
Designed as a general-purpose mechanics glove suitable for automotive, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing service work requiring light impact protection and grip performance.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, punctures, or worn leather that could compromise hand protection. Mechanics gloves do not provide arc flash or high-voltage electrical protection and should not be substituted for rated electrical PPE when working on energized circuits. Replace when palm material shows significant thinning or the wrist closure no longer holds securely.
