The MCR Safety 8402M is a two-piece Hydroblast protective suit designed for high-pressure water blasting, industrial cleaning, and wet-environment applications. Constructed from 0.35mm neoprene-coated nylon, the suit provides a barrier against water, light chemicals, and debris common in industrial service environments. The two-piece design consists of a jacket and pants, allowing for flexible coverage and ease of donning. Velcro closures secure the fit at critical points to minimize water intrusion. At 4.26 pounds, the suit balances protection with wearability during extended use. It is intended for use by maintenance technicians, industrial cleaning crews, and service professionals working in wet or spray-heavy conditions.
The 8402M is well suited for industrial and commercial settings where operators are exposed to high-pressure water jets, spray washdown operations, or sustained wet-work environments. Typical applications include tank cleaning, pipeline maintenance, facility washdown, and general hydroblasting service work. The bright yellow coloration provides high visibility on job sites where personnel identification is important for safety compliance.
Designed as an OEM-style protective garment for industrial hydroblasting, washdown, and wet-environment service applications.
Donning and doffing of chemical-resistant suits should be performed per the employer safety program and applicable OSHA PPE standards. Inspect the suit for tears, delamination, or compromised closures before each use. Do not use this garment as the sole means of protection when working with hazardous chemicals without first verifying chemical resistance ratings against the specific exposure. Replace the suit if the neoprene coating shows visible cracking, separation, or loss of integrity.
