The MCR SAFETY 5340XL is a dual-layer chemical resistance glove built for trade professionals who handle solvents, oils, acids, and other hazardous substances on the job. The outer layer is blue nitrile, which provides puncture resistance and broad chemical resistance. The inner layer is green latex, which adds flexibility and tactile feedback. A flock lining improves comfort during extended wear. The combined wall thickness is 28 mils. A raised honeycomb grip pattern across the palm and fingers helps maintain control of wet or slick surfaces. The scalloped cuff extends to 12 inches for added forearm protection.
This glove is suited for industrial, chemical handling, janitorial, plumbing, and general maintenance applications. It performs in environments where workers contact petroleum-based fluids, cleaning compounds, and light chemical splashes. The X-Large sizing accommodates larger hands without sacrificing dexterity. Sold in pairs, with a minimum order quantity of 12 pairs, making it practical for shop stock or crew-level supply. The 12-inch cuff length makes it appropriate for tasks where wrist and lower forearm exposure is a concern.
Designed as an OEM-style chemical resistance glove for use in industrial, plumbing, HVAC, and facility maintenance applications requiring dual-layer nitrile-over-latex hand protection in X-Large sizing.
Inspect gloves for pinhole defects or tears before each use by inflating them slightly or holding them to light. For chemical handling tasks, verify compatibility of the nitrile-latex construction with the specific substances being contacted, as no glove material resists all chemicals. Dispose of gloves that show visible degradation, discoloration, or loss of elasticity. Follow applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 personal protective equipment requirements for hand protection selection.
