The MCR SAFETY 5049M is a disposable latex examination glove designed for medical, emergency response, and industrial applications requiring a high level of tactile sensitivity and barrier protection. At 11 mil thickness, this glove is substantially heavier than standard exam gloves, offering increased puncture resistance without sacrificing dexterity. The 12-inch length provides extended wrist and forearm coverage. Constructed from natural rubber latex, the material is inherently biodegradable and offers antimicrobial properties. The glove is double chlorinated and powder free, reducing interior friction for easier donning without the contamination risks associated with powdered gloves.
The 5049M is suited for emergency medical services, clinical environments, first responder use, and industrial settings where a medical-grade glove with extended coverage is required. Its NFPA 1999 certification makes it appropriate for emergency medical operations under that standard. The textured grip surface supports secure handling of instruments and equipment in wet or dry conditions. This glove is sold individually (each unit) with a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit disposable exam glove for medium-hand users requiring a Class 1 medical device-rated latex glove meeting NFPA 1999 requirements.
Gloves should be inspected for tears or defects before each use. Individuals with known or suspected latex allergies should not use natural rubber latex gloves. Dispose of gloves according to applicable local, state, and federal regulations for medical or biohazardous waste. Do not reuse disposable gloves.
