The MCR Safety 4921M is a medium-size leather welding glove built for MIG and TIG applications where hand protection and durability are non-negotiable. The palm features a grain cowhide double layer in a russet finish, while the back is constructed from split cowhide leather. A 2.5-inch split leather cuff extends wrist coverage during overhead and positional welding. Interior lining is 6 oz. white knitted cotton fabric for comfort during extended wear. All seams are sewn with Kevlar thread to resist heat and abrasion that would degrade standard stitching. This glove is sold as a pair and is sized Medium.
The 4921M is suited for residential and light industrial welding environments where MIG and TIG processes are the norm. Fabricators, ironworkers, and maintenance welders working in shop or field conditions will find the double palm construction useful for repetitive grip and heat exposure. The russet grain leather palm provides tactile feedback needed for TIG work while still offering the protection required for MIG welding. The cotton lining adds comfort for long-duration tasks without adding excessive bulk to the hand.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-buy welding glove for MIG and TIG welding applications requiring grain leather palm protection in a medium size.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for burns, cracking, or seam separation. Do not continue using a glove with compromised leather or exposed lining, as protection is significantly reduced. Ensure gloves are fully dry before use near arc or flame sources. Welding work should comply with applicable OSHA 1910.252 general industry welding standards and employer PPE requirements.
