The MCR SAFETY 4850XXL is a goatskin leather welding glove built for heat, spark, and abrasion exposure in welding and metal fabrication environments. Constructed with a Gunn-cut back pattern, the glove features a full Kevlar lining that adds thermal protection and cut resistance without sacrificing dexterity. Sized at 2X-Large in a women's fit, this glove is designed to reduce hand fatigue and improve grip on welding equipment, torches, and hot workpieces. Licensed welders, fabricators, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary users of this style of glove.
These gloves suit light-to-medium welding applications in both residential and commercial settings, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding operations. The goatskin construction is well-suited for environments where tactile feedback matters, such as detailed weld passes or torch work. The Kevlar lining provides an added layer of protection for repeated exposure to sparks and moderate heat. At 13.5 inches in length, the gauntlet-style cuff extends coverage up the forearm to protect the wrist and lower arm from spatter and heat.
Designed as an OEM-style welding glove for general MIG, TIG, and stick welding applications requiring goatskin leather and Kevlar-lined protection.
These gloves are worn PPE and do not require installation tools or mechanical fastening. Inspect the glove for burns, tears, or compromised seams before each use. Replace immediately if the Kevlar lining or outer leather shell shows signs of degradation. Consult applicable OSHA 1910.138 PPE standards and employer safety programs for glove selection and use requirements in welding environments.
