The MCR Safety 4850RH is a right-hand MIG/TIG welding glove designed for professional welders who need durability, heat resistance, and tactile sensitivity in a single glove. Constructed from premium top-grain goatskin leather, this glove retains natural lanolin for a supple, soft feel while delivering strong tensile strength. Seams are sewn with DuPont Kevlar thread for added resistance to abrasion and cut-through. A 4.5-inch blue split cowhide leather cuff provides wrist and forearm protection from spatter and radiant heat. This glove is sold as a single right-hand unit.
The 4850RH is suited for MIG and TIG welding applications in fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and maintenance environments. The grain goatskin construction offers the flexibility and dexterity that TIG welders require, while the Kevlar-sewn seams and leather cuff meet the demands of heavier MIG work. It is intended for use by professional welders and skilled tradespeople who require a close-fitting, sensitive glove for detailed weld work. The matching left-hand version is available as part number 4850LH.
Designed as a right-hand welding glove for MIG and TIG welding tasks. The matching left-hand glove is available as MCR Safety 4850LH.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for cuts, holes, or worn seams that could compromise protection. Ensure gloves are completely dry before use near electrical arc welding equipment. Replace immediately if the leather shows signs of charring, stiffness from heat exposure, or seam failure. Welding PPE selection should comply with applicable ANSI and AWS safety standards for the specific welding process being performed.
