The MCR SAFETY 4850KXL is an X-Large welding glove engineered for MIG and TIG applications where tactile sensitivity and heat protection must coexist. The shell is cut from premium top-grain goatskin, a leather valued for its natural lanolin content, strong tensile strength, and supple feel. The interior is lined with 100% Dupont Kevlar and stitched throughout with Kevlar thread, adding a layer of cut and heat resistance to every seam. A 4.5-inch blue split cow leather cuff extends protection up the wrist. Welders, fabricators, and ironworkers who require a close-fitting glove without sacrificing protection will find this construction well-suited to finish-critical weld work.
These gloves are intended for professional welding environments where fine motor control is as important as protection. The grain goatskin shell delivers the flexibility needed for TIG work, while the Kevlar lining makes the glove serviceable for MIG processes as well. The extended cuff shields the lower wrist from spatter and radiant heat in both shop and field settings. This is an X-Large size, sold individually per unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use welding glove suitable for professional MIG and TIG welding applications in fabrication, manufacturing, and general metalworking environments.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for wear, holes, or compromised seams that could reduce protection. Ensure the cuff fully covers the wrist and overlaps any sleeve or jacket cuff before striking an arc. Do not use wet or heavily soiled gloves near electrical equipment or open arc processes. Follow applicable OSHA and ANSI Z49.1 welding safety standards for hand protection requirements in your work environment.
