The MCR SAFETY 4840KXL is a premium grain goatskin MIG/TIG welding glove designed for professional welders and fabricators who need durable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. The glove shell is constructed from grain goatskin leather, which retains natural lanolin for a soft, supple feel while delivering high tensile strength and reliable tactile sensitivity. A Kevlar lining adds cut and heat resistance, and the glove is also sewn with Kevlar thread throughout. A 6-inch russet split cowhide cuff provides extended wrist and forearm protection during welding operations.
This glove is suited for residential and industrial welding environments where MIG and TIG processes are performed. The straight thumb design supports natural hand positioning during torch and gun handling, while the self-hem sewn cuff contributes to a clean, durable edge. The combination of goatskin flexibility and Kevlar reinforcement makes this glove appropriate for light fabrication work as well as sustained arc welding applications. It is sold as a pair and is available in X-Large sizing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use welding glove suitable for MIG and TIG welding applications requiring grain goatskin construction with Kevlar lining.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for cuts, burn-through, or seam separation. Always ensure the welding machine or plasma cutter is powered down before donning or doffing gloves near live connections. Follow applicable ANSI and AWS safety standards for personal protective equipment in welding environments. Do not use gloves that show signs of lining degradation or compromised cuff integrity.
