The MCR Safety 4840KM is a pair of full-fingered leather welding gloves designed for MIG and TIG welding as well as high-heat applications. The shell is constructed from grain goatskin leather on the back with a gunn-pattern cut and a cowhide gauntlet cuff that extends 6 inches for forearm protection. The interior features a Kevlar lining that resists heat and cut hazards common in welding environments. The textured grip surface aids control of the torch or workpiece. These gloves are sized Medium and are intended for installation and service work performed by professional welders and HVAC technicians working with high-temperature processes.
The 4840KM is suited for residential and light commercial welding tasks including MIG and TIG torch work, metal fabrication, and related high-heat operations. The gauntlet cuff style provides extended wrist and lower forearm coverage where spatter and radiant heat exposure are highest. The straight thumb design supports natural hand positioning during torch manipulation. Kevlar lining adds a secondary layer of protection against heat transfer through the glove body.
Designed for MIG and TIG welding and high-heat applications. Sized Medium for both mens and womens fit. Sold as a pair.
These gloves are intended to be worn by the technician performing welding or high-heat work. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, worn areas, or lining damage that may reduce protection. Follow applicable ANSI and OSHA hand protection standards for the specific welding process being performed. Do not use damaged gloves in active welding operations.
