The MCR SAFETY 48406TXL is a heavy-duty welding glove designed for MIG and TIG welding applications in both warm and cold environments. Constructed from premium top-grain goatskin, the palm delivers strong tensile strength with excellent tactile sensitivity, allowing welders to maintain precise control during detailed work. The glove is lined with 100-gram Thinsulate insulation for reliable warmth in cold conditions and is sewn with Kevlar thread for enhanced seam durability. A keystone thumb construction reduces hand fatigue and improves fit during extended use. The TPR back panel provides impact resistance across the fingers and back of the hand.
This glove is suited for professional welders and fabricators working in light industrial, manufacturing, and construction environments. The 5-inch split cowhide cuff extends protection up the wrist and lower forearm, which is critical during overhead or close-proximity welding. The total glove length is 11 inches, including the cuff. The self-hem sewn cuff adds edge durability for repeat use. This is an X-Large size glove, sold as a pair, intended for daily use in trade and shop environments where both dexterity and thermal protection are required.
Designed for use in MIG and TIG welding applications. Sold as a pair in X-Large sizing for professional welders and fabricators requiring combined thermal protection and dexterity.
These gloves are donned and removed by hand and require no tools or fasteners. Inspect gloves before each use for worn seams, burns, or punctures that would compromise protection. Do not use gloves that show visible damage. Store away from direct heat sources and sharp edges when not in use to extend service life.
