The MCR SAFETY 48406KXXL is a MIG and TIG welding glove designed for professional welders who need reliable hand protection during high-heat operations. Constructed from premium top-grain goatskin leather, the glove offers natural lanolin softness combined with strong tensile strength and tactile sensitivity. A 5-inch russet split cowskin cuff extends coverage at the wrist and forearm. The interior lining and stitching use Kevlar for added heat and cut resistance. A thermoplastic rubber (TPR) back panel provides impact resistance across the fingers and back of the hand. Sold as a pair in XX-Large sizing.
This glove is suited for MIG and TIG welding applications in fabrication shops, construction sites, and industrial facilities. The keystone thumb construction reduces stress at a high-wear point, while the padded palm absorbs vibration and heat. The self-hem sewn cuff keeps the edge clean and resistant to fraying over repeated use. Licensed welders, ironworkers, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers and end users of this glove.
Designed for MIG and TIG welding applications requiring leather hand protection with extended cuff coverage. Sized XX-Large for professional fit across a range of hand dimensions.
Welding gloves are donned and inspected before each use by the welder or their supervisor. Inspect leather and stitching for burns, cuts, or separation prior to use. Do not use damaged gloves near open arcs or high-heat surfaces. Replace gloves when the leather shows significant charring, thinning, or structural compromise.
