The MCR SAFETY 48406KS is a premium-grade MIG/TIG welding glove constructed from top-grain goatskin leather, a naturally supple material with inherent lanolin that delivers a soft feel without sacrificing durability. The goatskin palm provides high tensile strength and strong tactile sensitivity, allowing welders to maintain dexterity during detailed work. A 5-inch russet split cowskin cuff extends wrist and forearm protection beyond standard glove coverage. The interior lining and stitching are both Kevlar, adding heat and cut resistance throughout the glove. A thermoplastic rubber (TPR) back panel provides impact resistance across the fingers and back of the hand. Sold as a pair in small size.
This glove is suited for professional welders working in fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and field welding environments where MIG and TIG processes are performed. The keystone thumb construction reduces hand fatigue during extended welding sessions. The padded palm absorbs vibration and heat transfer from workpieces and equipment. The self-hem sewn cuff keeps the cuff edge clean and reduces premature wear at the opening. It is appropriate for journeyman welders and experienced tradespeople who need a glove that balances dexterity with reliable hand and wrist protection.
Designed for MIG and TIG welding applications requiring dexterity and heat protection. Fits small-hand users. Sold in pairs with a minimum order quantity of 12 pairs.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, burns, or worn seams that may compromise protection. Do not use gloves that show heat damage, holes, or degraded stitching. Leather welding gloves should be kept dry and away from solvents or oils that can degrade the material. Glove selection and use should comply with applicable ANSI/ISEA hand protection standards and site-specific PPE requirements.
